About Bernardo Lino

As a seasoned professional with a strong background in industrial design, CAD design, and Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) operations, I bring a unique blend of technical expertise and operational experience to the table. My career has been marked by a passion for innovation, a commitment to excellence, and a drive to push the boundaries of technology and performance. With extensive experience as an Industrial Designer, I have honed my skills in designing and developing advanced systems, working under tight deadlines, and adapting to high-performance demands. My proficiency in CAD design has enabled me to create complex 3D models and detailed technical drawings, significantly enhancing production processes. These designs have included the VTOL arms for the VTOL version of Tekever's AR3 and the initial designs for the ARX system, currently under development, among many other projects. In the realm of RPAS, I have operated unmanned aircraft as both a remote pilot and Pilot-in-Command (PIC) in various operational settings, accumulating over 350 flight hours. This experience has allowed me to effectively adapt to different mission demands and challenges. As an RPAS Test Pilot, I have collaborated with product and R&D teams to enhance UAV systems and develop new products, serving as a test pilot for experimental and prototype aircraft. Additionally, my role as a Factory Validation RPAS Pilot has involved validating newly built aircraft to ensure they meet performance and safety standards for operational or commercial use. As a Payload Operator, I have operated gimbals and onboard sensors to deliver high-resolution data, including still pictures, electro-optical video, infrared imagery, and synthetic-aperture radar constructs.
