With over 20 years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence, and application consulting, Bernd brings deep expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, IBM Cognos, and Software Engineering Principles, and a strong track record of delivering data-driven solutions across sectors such as telecommunications, insurance, and retail. At Capgemini and in previous roles, Bernd has led and supported complex data integration, reporting, and DevOps projects for clients including German DAX companies and parts of the federal administration. His technical toolkit includes cloud platforms, containerization, and big data technologies. Bernd holds a diploma in Business Informatics and certifications in Git, Big Data, and container technologies. He is fluent in German and English and is recognized for his collaborative mindset, technical depth, and focus on quality and reliability. Outside of work, Bernd enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and experimenting in the kitchen with cooking and baking. He’s also an avid fan of games in all forms—whether it’s board games, card games, tabletop RPGs, or video games.
