About Bernd Radaschitz

Fine craftsmanship is in my blood. With three generations of master craftsmen before me, I grew up above the family workshop in Riegersburg. It was natural that I should continue the family tradition and train as an artisan, but I have always been a businessman by instinct. Having qualified at the esteemed Master College of Cabinet Making in Graz and worked my first role as an Interior Designer in Vienna, I moved to London to join renowned kitchen brand Poggenpohl. From this global outlook, I pinpointed an opportunity in the market I was uniquely positioned to serve. In partnership with my brother Johann, I established INTERIOR-iD, a B2B project-management company and connected it with our family workshops in Riegersburg. This brand delivers precision-engineered fitted furniture and cabinetry solutions, to some of the world’s leading architects, interior designers and construction companies. LANSERRING was born in 2017. Having identified a global client demand for exceptionally high quality furniture offered as a haute-couture service, my brother and I created a new design-led brand. The focus on kitchens honours our father and grandfather, who both took great pleasure in designing for this most soulful family space. LANSERRING builds upon the crafting excellence of the well-established Radaschitz workshop and the luxury management expertise of INTERIOR-iD to set a new standard for contemporary luxury. The LANSERRING group has grown iteratively; each addition has been the natural next step, resulting in a robust, confident and dynamic business. For me, success has always been about succession. To move forwards, it is necessary to make sure that the job you are currently doing can be taken over by someone else. This means developing, trusting and empowering a team. Our next chapter is in New York, where I will accompany LANSERRING into a new market. At our London Headquarters, I have entrusted many of my old duties to the newly established Board of Directors. My brother Johann leads the family workshops in Riegersburg. LANSERRING New York was part of my dream from its conception. LANSERRING is a platform that connects uniquely fine craftsmanship from Austria with best-in-class design talent globally, and so New York’s thriving design scene is a natural destination. As the driving force of LANSERRING, my goal is to lower the barrier to new geographies and new opportunities for my team.
