Perform Material testing and Measuring Equipment calibration for 3rd Party companies. Receive different shapes of samples and machine these to prepare them for tensile testing, hardness and chemical analysis as per ASTM, ASME, CSA and other standards. Writing CNC Lathe and Mill programs using CAD-CAM. Using a complete complement of machine shop machinery including CNC Mill and Lathe to machine received samples. Design and machine custom fixtures. Perform Tensile, Charpy and Hardness Testing as per ASTM and issue Test report to Customers. Successfully Completed MTS servo hydraulic machine specific Introduction and operating training on Series 793 station manager and Testworks Elite (TWE) software. Machine weld samples to Standard test specifications and perform Face and Root bends as well as tensile strength. In charge of organizing the machine shop and improve processes to make the shop more efficient. Perform calibration and re-certification of Pressure Gauges, Force Machines, Load Cells, Surface Tables, Weight Scales and Micrometers/ Calibers as per CLAS specifications in an environmentally controlled Metrology Lab and on site
