Mr. Moore’s practice is centered on real estate and matters which are considered initially in the probate courts. Mr. Moore has represented most of the major lenders in the north Alabama market and borrowers from those lenders. He has assisted industrial clients in negotiating and obtaining attractive tax and economic incentives for industrial expansion throughout Alabama. He is an agent for First American and Mississippi Valley Title Insurance companies and routinely issues owners and lenders policies on both commercial and residential property. He has represented commercial lenders in collecting from delinquent borrowers. He is experienced in foreclosures and the representation of creditors in the bankruptcy court. He has also represented clients with zoning requests, variances, annexations, vacations of easements and rights of way, and appeared before the local Board of Zoning Adjustment and the Planning Commission and its subcommittees. He has handled appeals from the decisions of these bodies. Mr. Moore has represented city and county boards of education in the acquisition of real property for new school campuses.
