Whether it is building a market-leading AI hardware-software product from scratch, getting 3 generations (from 7 to 70 years old) to the top of the Stelvio by bike or completing a full renovation of a house in just 4 months, I like to take people along a journey and push the boundaries of what they perceive as feasible. I consider myself a generalist rather than a specialist, with a big interest in the business side of things. Learning how things work is great, learning how to create a sustainable impact is even better. Backed up by a sound theoretical basis and critical mindset, I am keen on pushing new technologies and products forward. Through 20 years of getting applications to work (or fail), I have obtained plenty of hands-on experience with AI and software development. With Nunki, we are automating administrative and operational processes using generative AI, focusing on creating a better and more efficient customer service. Being on top of the latest developments in agentic and generative AI, I turn the hype into real impact. With Detecte, we are making traffic safer by positively incentivizing drivers to avoid unnecessary distraction (by the smartphone) and to adopt a smooth driving style. Applying my AI computer vision experience on a mobile platform is a fun new challenge. With Pickit, we have built a product that was first a pioneer, and now the reference in the market of 3D vision for AI-enabled robotics. As former CTO and Product manager, and with a great team, I led the way to product-market-fit (40% of our deals were closed with recurring customers in over 40 different countries).
