About Beshir Mohamed

I have been working around construction sites ever since I started my first year at George Brown College for Civil Engineering in SEP 2018. I had to work in ELLISDON Construction Company as a fire watch. At first, it was a part-time job and went like that through the years till MAY 2020. In that time I worked at ELLISDON for 5 months starting from NOV 2018, till the end of my first year at GBC studying civil engineering. After that, I started working again in a company called DEFENDER SECURITY where they do security and fire watch for construction sites. It was at Queen Street East & Logon Ave, A 7-story condominium. After that I started working at a PCL construction site where I do fire watch, It is located at 65 King Street East. Started working in Oct 2019 till the beginning of the summer of 2020. Where I had to watch over the gates on the site, giving access to the workers and making sure everyone had the proper safety gear. And keeping track of all the deliveries for the contractors and PCL office also stopping the road to ensure safe access to the trucks into the site. Or stopping the pedestrian if for example a crane is operating and lifting a heavy and big structure where it is too dangerous for the pedestrian beneath it. Then when the summer ended and my last year of college began. I got back to doing fire watch part-time at the same construction site.
