About Bess Johnson

As a marketer, I don't just drive leads—I drive alignment, growth, and momentum. From the booth to the boardroom, I build marketing engines that connect sales, product, and customers—fueling results that move the business forward.I’ve led marketing for one of the most operationally complex industries out there: trucking and freight. I’ve built brand trust with blue-collar audiences, rolled out high-performance campaigns targeting fleet owners, shippers, and brokers, and created scalable demand gen programs that turn prospects into long-haul customers. Whether it’s launching strategic integrations, crafting value propositions, or enabling sales with clear, field-ready messaging, I make sure marketing sits in the cab—right where it belongs. What sets me apart:I build strategy and get in the weeds. From big-picture GTM to content calendars, trade show field plans, and PPC funnels—I lead the team but also know how to roll up my sleeves.I bring marketing closer to product and customer success. The best ideas often come from the field—I connect the dots to make sure they scale.I know transportation. I speak the language, respect the work, and know how to communicate value to an audience that doesn't fall for fluff.
