I'm passionate about connecting people and organizations, especially to Green Build and Technology. I'm equally passionate about lifting people and building careers. As a Career Coach of over 14 years, I aim to build people up and help tell their stories of sacrifice and success, with a special affinity towards seniors. Sometimes we focus so much on figuring things out independently, we forget to ask for help. This is especially true for seniors. We are better advocates for others than we are for ourselves. With my customer-centric focus, I have met the needs of over 1400 clients with personalized and attentive coaching to achieve professional & personal growth and change. I teach clients how to elevate their network to make a difference in their career move, whether it's their first or their next. I coach from personal experience as an IT Executive of 20 years, where I honed my skills in leading, mentoring, and collaborating. Within one year of starting my current role with Equus, I increased customer satisfaction. I reduced the WorkSource Center complaints by over 90% while rolling out additional career services, new workshops, process improvements, running orientation and a networking group, and establishing a new networking group from scratch. My track record is proven with numerous testimonials and recommendations. I work with diverse clients in various industries, delivering tailored coaching and workshops, and access to my network, using customized strategies in compatibility with workforce trends & forecasts. I am connected to all the key players in the workforce sector including the City of LA, EWDD, EDD, WVOC/LAUSD, LAVC, DOR, Pierce College, Recruiters, Job Developers & so many other community partners.
