About Bess Tyner

I have a comprehensive background of facilities engineering and maintenance, coupled with masterplanning capabilities. This is across several different industrial and commercial sectors that prepares me for a broad, big picture approach to capital asset management. My military experience is that I am currently a Major in the South Carolina Guard, Headquarters, Headquarters Company, Civili Affairs Detachment. Received the SC Guard Commendation Medal in addition to other military decorations. In addition, am a staff officer on the National Commodore's staff. Division Chief (Commander). Current assignment is as Branch Chief for Statistics. Received the Commandants Letter of Commendation ribbon, Meritorious Unit Commendation Ribbon, Meritorious Team Commendation Ribbon, Coast Guard Presidential Unit Citation (Hurricane Device), and other decorations. My professional goal is to serve in a public service setting preferably supporting the military or military operations. I recently completed the Federal Acquisition College Senior Program/Project Management curriculum. I also recently was certified by the American Health Association as a Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager.
