About Bess Werner

Prior to my current role, I was a Regional Organizing Director with For Our Future Wisconsin, where I managed a team of organizers, assisted with digital content creation, and activated and empowered community members. In the spring of 2021, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a double-major in Legal Studies and Political Science with a certificate in Public Policy. My coursework has involved a liberal arts education covering a wide variety of topics, such as history of science, art history, economics, statistics, and a surprisingly interesting class about introductory geology. For my majors and certificate, I've studied more in-depth topics related to US government, social policy, public opinion and surveys, criminal justice, US Supreme Court, mass communications, and conflict resolution.I'm passionate about politics, branding, and innovation, with experience in communications, research, and critical analysis both from my studies and my professional work.
