It's difficult to understand the sum of a person's life. Some people will tell you that it's measured by the ones left behind. Some believe it can be measured in faith, some say by love. Other folks say that life has no meaning at all. Me, I believe that you measure yourself by the people who measured themselves by you." Who am I? Named after my grandmother, I am Dorothy Elizabeth (Boshoff) Ames (aka Beth) Born in Pietermaritzburg on the 15th June 1966. I have faced life challenges, both cruel & kind. I have lived and loved as daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother & friend. I am a mother of three children. Brandon (1990) Jesse (1992) & Jayde (1996) And Bebe to grandsons, Brayton Lea Ames born 13.10.2015 (SA) and Asher Ames born 29.03.2020 ( Ireland) I have been both employer & employee, learning & establishing a foundation of integrity that can only really be understood having played on both professional sides. I am passionate about living life kind. I am well balanced, being perfectly positioned between both left & right brain, creatively-mathematical! I qualified as an Open water 1 Scuba diver. Did my last dive, a few years ago, on the wreck of the Rhone, off the island of Tortola, in the BVI. I have discovered that a sense of humour in life is imperative. I love to travel, meet new people and experience different cultures. I swing fully into the "ocd-creative-administrative-organized" profile. Enneagram 1 wing 9! I have done everything from administration, reception, processing, accounts (creditors/debtors management), new sales/extension business, client liaison, event planning, relationship & project management, public speaking, recruiting, coaching, catering, tutoring, managing a business as well as managing a busy a home full of children. I am social. I am a survivor. I live life with a smile. I am confident & ever so slightly intimidating.(being 1.81m tall helps) I love maths, art & architecture. I love (watching.) RUGBY, swimming & athletics I love music (I sing & play piano) I love writing. I love that my life experience of highs and lows, can inspire & empower others. I'm hopeful for the future I love my family. I love my life.
