About Beth Anctil

Career Summary: Beth Anctil retired January 3, 2025 from Premier. Inc. where she lead the Population Health Management Collaborative for over 3 years. Prior to that, Beth led the Clinical Transformation advisory team, and provided subject matter expertise in Care Management and Quality Improvement for Premier Advisory Services. With over 40 years of health care management experience spanning settings across the continuum of care, Beth has proven leadership skills and success in fully deploying initiatives to transform models of care. Prior to joining Premier, Mrs. Anctil was the administrative director of transition management with Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) including care management and social work services for the adult enterprise. She also served as the operational lead for an $18.8 million CMMI Award, My Health Team Chronic Disease Management, and provided consultation for a $2.2 million CMMI Award focused on partnerships with Skilled Nursing Facilities to improve patient transitions and avoid unneeded hospitalizations. Selected Experience Early in her career, Mrs. Anctil was a practice administrator at Group Health Cooperative of Puget Sound (now a Kaiser Permanente facility). Later, with Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan, she served in a number of capacities, including Administrator for Detroit Primary Care, Director of Care Coordination for the System, and supported large intersecting initiatives like the “No Harm Campaign” and the application process for the Malcolm Baldrige Quality Award in 2011. As Executive Director for the Group Practice Improvement Network (GPIN), a professional networking organization dedicated to helping medical group leadership embrace quality improvement practices and initiatives designed to advance patient centered care, Mrs. Anctil worked closely with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI). She also spent several years teaching Case Management, Quality Improvement and Leadership as an assistant professor for the University of Detroit Mercy in the College of Health Professions.
