About Beth Armknecht Miller

A love for seeing leaders bloom and succeed … That’s what led Beth Miller to branch out on her own and found Executive Velocity in 2006. Since then, she’s enjoyed seeing many of the leaders she’s coached have career breakthroughs, receive promotions, and successfully grow and scale their businesses. Beth began her own career working in finance and then in sales, later co-founding a technology project management firm, MA & A Group. The business was recognized as a “Pacesetter” by the Atlanta Business Chronicle and by INC as one of the nation’s fastest-growing companies. With a desire to give back to the community and lend her entrepreneurial experience to others, Beth became a chair for Vistage, a prestigious CEO peer advisory group. During her time there, she worked one-on-one with many business owners, finding fulfillment through developing executives into strong leaders and helping them build their businesses. Beth soon realized she wanted to do more than positively impact individuals—she wanted to impact their whole business. She knew people are the business, and coaching more people within it was the secret to the success of the company itself. Now, she works with many business owners and executives within the same company, developing the leadership it needs to grow, scale, and thrive. In 2021, she published her second book, “Replaceable: An Obsession with Succession,” a guide walking business leaders through how to prepare a company for their inevitable exit or its eventual sale. When she’s not sharing her experience with other entrepreneurs, Beth is an explorer and world traveler who’s set foot on all seven continents. She has a love of animals and wildlife, which often takes her to Africa and other habitats with majestic animals. Beth lives in Atlanta with her 2 cats, Puri and Mr. Bates, lovingly named after the Downton Abbey character.
