About Beth Bartz

I am excited to expand my practice outside of the Upper Midwest within Kimley-Horn's national footprint! Over my three-decade career, I have helped my public sector clients achieve broad community and agency agreements on challenging transportation and land use planning projects. My most recent work has focused on significant transit corridors– Gold Line, Rush Line, and Blue Line Extension–leading Pre-Project Development, NEPA, Concept Design, Community Engagement and Station Area Planning to position projects for successful entry into the FTA New Starts funding process. I’ve also worked on many significant highway and river crossing projects, facilitating development of project alternatives within the context of community goals and environmental objectives. My commitment to community and agency engagement enables me to combine my consultant planning expertise with knowledge of historic preservation and psychology as well as my experience working as a city planner. My understanding of the context of project decisions from agency and local government perspectives and ability to translate technical information for non-technical stakeholders, has significantly contributed to my ability to facilitate decision making on challenging projects. Personally, I enjoy helping individuals and teams develop a better understanding of working together as a Myers Briggs Type Indicator certified facilitator and exploring my creative side as a watercolor artist.
