About Beth Branco

I am currently attending Thomas Jefferson University as a part of their Couples and Family Therapy (MFT) program. While I am at Thomas Jefferson University, I have been provided with the opportunity to have an internship at Council for Relationships, where I am an active therapist for lower-fee clients. Before attending Thomas Jefferson University, I attended Eastern University and was able to receive my BA within the time span of three years instead of the traditional four. I graduated in the spring semester of 2022 with a BA in psychology and a minor in marketing. While I was at Eastern, I spent the entirety of my senior year interning with the universities counseling center. During my time at the counseling center, I worked alongside the center's director and a fellow intern, and we were able to create a peer counseling program to help relieve some of the caseloads from the therapists while also providing the students with a therapist who would be an easier person to approach since they were a peer of theirs. Since I have graduated, the peer counseling program still remains at the university, and it has blossomed into what my peer and I had dreamed of when we were first trying to create it.
