Business Operations: Responsible for (i) coordinating people, process, and platforms to ensure proper compliance with all existing operations and procedures and increase efficiencies to drive growth in current and new business lines and products,(ii) budget review and approval for all departments in the Affordable Equity, Asset Management, and Lending business licensing,(iv) Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-money Laundering compliance,(vi) management of Loan Closing Department,(vi) loan loss reserve determination and asset valuations, and (vii) corporate entity management. Loan Servicing and Asset Management: Oversaw sub-servicer, and previously managed staff, responsible for loan servicing and asset management of a $12 billion portfolio of commercial loans, comprised of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, Ginnie Mae, and private placement bonds. Loan servicing responsibilities include invoicing, payment processing, investor reporting, delinquency management, and escrow administration. Asset Management responsibilities include financial statement review, site inspections, watch list management, workouts, and foreclosure management. Liaison with Lender partners coordinating audits and communication of corporate changes. Investor Relations: Manage communication to the investors of Low Income Housing Tax Credit Funds. Responsibilities included generation and distribution of quarterly reports regarding performance of the funds and assets within the funds, hosting investor meetings to review fund and asset performance, managing the review of asset level and fund level tax return review and distribution to investors, and handle all special requests and inquiries from investors. Fund Origination and Management: Financial modeling and documenting new debt funds and updating financial models based on actual performance of the loans in the funds.
