About Beth E. Dawson

Independent educational consultant and professor with, in addition, over 15 years experience in the corporate communication field and more recently Corporate Social Responsibility. I began my professional career in journalism & I have worked in broadcast and radio journalism (M6, TF1, ARTE and Radio France.) I am also an academic with a keen interest in research and teaching and after completing my bilingual doctoral thesis in the field of social sciences, I teach and advise in various different higher educational institutions (Sorbonne, ISCOM, AUP, HEC, Ecole W.) I wrote my doctoral thesis in French and English and carried out research on both sides of the channel. In the corporate world, I have had the opportunity to work on some exciting projects in Orange (re-branding, press relations, talent management, international team-building), with subsidiaries (Switzerland, Belgium & French-speaking African countries) and also within the headquarters in Paris. I am also an independent educational consultant helping expat families to choose the right school and better understand the French education system. I also help students apply to higher educational institutions in English-speaking countries. Education and cross-cultural communication are two subjects that motivate me on a daily basis. 5 things you probably don't know about about me: I don't drink coffee (matcha tea is a good substitute) I don't watch TV (Netflix is an exception) I do a crossword (almost) every morning I have learned the art of Japanese calligraphy I used to play handball I have a very British sense of humour -) Specialties Education.
