About Beth Farleigh

I am adept at navigating challenges and pivot easily, responding to demands of the moment. I constantly seek growth and welcome opportunities to acquire new information, skills or experiences. In the spirit of personal growth, I embarked on a new adventure and followed my passion for health and wellness by becoming a certified ADAPT Functional Health & Wellness Coach (A-CFHC). The year-long program through the Kresser Institute included in-depth training in Motivational Interviewing, Positive Psychology, Nonviolent Communication, and the Transtheoretical Model of Change. The ADAPT program also included a thorough examination of functional health and lifestyle changes. As a wellness coach, I work with people motivated to age healthy and strong. My clients realize that healthy habits developed in the present will benefit them now and in the future. We share a common goal: to be climbing mountains and kicking ass well into our 80’s. I come to coaching with 25+ years of experience in the higher education environment focusing on personnel and payroll matters. I managed a departmental office, advised and assisted with hiring and onboarding of new employees, processed payroll, along with a host of other random duties.
