About Beth McGuinness

With over two decades of experience in the healthcare industry, I have been a top sales person, managed large healthcare insurance accounts, negotiated complex deals, consulted on decreasing medical costs, and created strategic partnerships. I am well versed in the payer/insurance benefits space as I worked at the Healthcare Service Corporation which owns five Blues Plans. Many of my roles included Health Plans as my customers as well as being one of twenty employees at a start-up consulting firm that grew by 10x. I was also a Board member at The Ethel Walker School which used my leadership and networking skills in a different capacity. My core competencies include healthcare insurance acumen, account management, strategic partnerships, sales, financial management, customer relationship management, and analytical skills, which I developed and honed in my previous roles as a sales director, a vice president of business development, a strategy associate, among others. I am driven by the mission of making finance and technology more accessible, improving healthcare and education equity, and financial literacy for youth. I am also pursuing my passion for writing and education as an author at The Donovan Group. I write financial literacy books for kids and tweens, aiming to inspire and empower the next generation of savvy consumers and investors.
