I’m a mission-driven communicator who loves to put ideas into action at the intersection of programming and strategy. I use my story-telling skills to make the world better with a special focus on higher education. I’m a true team player who propels my organization to success by helping my colleagues succeed. I’m a trusted colleague because I deliver results. My success relies on superior relationship and project management skills. I developed these skills working in alumni relations and communications for one of the top business schools in the country and two leading journalism schools. I excel at writing on deadline and synthesizing raw information into concise communication, skills honed working as a newspaper reporter. Raised in a small town in the Hoosier state, I came to Bloomington to study at Indiana University and built my life here. I love gardening, hiking, traveling to beaches and national parks, and playing Frisbee with my Australian cattle dog. My sweet spot is at a non-profit or business where I can combine my passion for higher education with my expertise in communications strategy, events, and programming to make a positive difference.
