About Beth Montgomery

Currently, I'm a stay-at-home mom and while I love the opportunity to spend time with my kids, I'm not great at the "stay at home" part. I like to keep busy by taking on new challenges, so one of the first things I did was start a website to help families in the Indianapolis area save money on everyday things. I expected the website to be a fun hobby, but instead it evolved into a full fledged business that led to many more opportunities. I started speaking to groups and conferences about saving money and family budgets and serving as a social media consultant to other companies. Eventually, I was asked by the Indianapolis Star to contribute a monthly article entitled,"5 Ways to Save" and to author a book for part of For Dummies' In a Day e-book series. Running a website allowed me the opportunity to embrace my inner nerd. Instead of hiring others to maintain, design, and operate my website, I began learning graphic design, website design, and other technical aspects. Soon other website owners were asking me for technical support and graphic design services, which added a new service to my already growing business. In addition to tinkering around online, I love volunteering my gifts in leadership, working with children, and ministry. I volunteer on many leadership teams, in addition to serving in various aspects at my church.
