About Beth Ramella
I've been very fortunate to build a rewarding career working with children and their families. I am passionate about my work for children with Cortical/Cerebral Visual Impairment. In addition to 25+ years experience evaluating and creating accessible IEPs for children with CVI and their families, I am a Perkins/Roman Endorsed evaluator. I provide private evaluation to children with suspected or diagnosed CVI and consulting and training to the agencies, districts and IUs serving them. At OSB, I provide a CVI clinic for assessment and educational planning/supports to enrolled and non-enrolled students. I provide pediatric CVI consult, evaluation, and trainings at hospitals and schools/IUs/agencies. I have consulted on and created products specifically designed for children with CVI for American Printing House for the Blind and Little Bear Sees. I am currently participating as a consultant in CVI research at the Children’s Hospital of Pgh with the best team in ophthalmology.
