About Beth Robelia
Twelve years of experience with Online Learning, Remote Learning, and Professional Development. Currently, I am in the unique position of teaching both online high school students and their K-12 teachers. I bridge post-secondary education with the realities of teaching online in public secondary high school. I am currently seeking opportunities that utilize my capabilities to combine on the ground education practicalities with research sensibilities. I am interested in teaching educators or designing STEM curriculum for online or blended classrooms. I have extensive experience teaching online, using Open Educational Resources (OER) for curriculum development and creating OER. As well as experience designing online teacher professional development tools for math and science teachers in Oman. I am also open to becoming a private teacher. As a curriculum development and assessment construction team member, I worked on a reading and vocabulary curriculum. I have STEM curriculum design and STEM professional development evaluation experience. I have been a classroom teacher for 8 years in math and science. I have also taught mathematics at Dunwoody Technical College. As an undergraduate, I worked in science research labs. For many summers I was an Outward Bound Instructor in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness, helping young people realize their potential as leaders.
