About Beth Swanson

I am a graduate with a Medical Assisting Associate of Science Degree from Allied Health Institute, and a graduate of Colorado Technical University’s Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management. I realize it takes hard work and proven dedication to be a successful member of a medical team and, through my coursework and work in a high capacity family practice/urgent care clinic, I have obtained a realistic view of what it takes to excel. I believe in making not only the patient care experience the best that it can be, but, also to work as a champion for my fellow caregivers and co-workers. I truly believe that if the caregiver is happy and feels appreciated then so will the patient! My qualifications:*. Leadership role working with senior leaders in health care. •Leadership abilities- 13 years as steward for SEIU Local 49, bargaining team member and Executive Board Member for the Health Care seat. • Technologically inclined with competent computer and research skills. Trained in Epic. • Clinical experience in both family practice and Urgent care. • Rapid Process Improvement team member on 7 system wide process changes. • Conflict resolution • Believe in being an advocate for quality of patient care as well as employee advocate. Suicide prevention and mental health issues is something that I am very passionate about. I believe in being a champion for those unable to be heard. I have been able to do this with my volunteer work with AFSP in Washington state.
