About Beth Williams

As the Principal at Leman Virtual Academy, I lead a team of educators who deliver high-quality online instruction to students across the state. I have over 20 years of experience in the education field, which includes literacy, divergent learning, differentiating, virtual education, and working with EL learners. I hold two master's degrees, one in curriculum and instruction and the other in educational leadership from Winthrop University, and I am certified in ESOL, elementary education, and gifted and talented education. My mission is to create a positive and supportive learning environment for all students. I have presented at various conferences on topics such as divergent learning, co-teaching, math strategies, and literacy, and I have received several awards and grants for my work. I enjoy reading, painting, crocheting, sewing, and hiking in my spare time.
