It’s a rare gift when the job you do reflects what you care deeply about. That’s what being a coach means to me and my clients. My work is to bring out the best in individuals and groups by- Deepening understanding. Listening, noticing and reflecting. And evoking people’s strengths, resources and motivations for change- Forging connections between people, their ideas and their behaviours, especially those whose roles involve complex responsibilities, relationships and influencing strategies- Generating choice. Identifying and negotiating obstacles. And encouraging fresh perspectives. My practice draws on over two decades of consulting and management, informed by postgraduate studies as a psychologist and a coach. I tune in – first and foremost – to a person’s strengths, motives and needs. To how they learn and the questions they’re dealing with. But I also understand their job, accountabilities, leadership challenges and organisation. And I offer challenge and support through evidence-based insights into behaviour, values, thinking patterns, collaboration and learning. COACHING INDIVIDUALS I help people make a positive difference in their role. Ready to meet them wherever they are – in senior leadership or complex operational roles, whatever their challenges or learning styles – I help people grow, rethink, strengthen their connections, gain traction and enjoy what they do. COACHING AND TRAINING GROUPS Experienced in delivering high-impact development programmes that boost resilience, emotional intelligence and leadership effectiveness. And equally at ease working with groups, noticing how people work together and reflecting back to evoke their best – together and as individuals. CONSULTING I work with clients – of all sizes and across all sectors – who understand the value of coaching and are ready to benefit from investing in their people. I can offer most to clients who are keen to create a coaching culture, working with groups to develop their coaching behaviours and their capacity to challenge, support and hold each other accountable.
