About Bethan Lavery

I am a Personal Assistant to the Group Logistics Director at Next. In this role I manage diaries and inboxes and schedule meetings with internal and external stakeholders. I prepare documents for meetings, including bi-weekly meetings with the CEO. It involves working with various levels of management across multiple sites and understanding the daily requirements for the Director to ensure that for any meetings or projects, that all documents are readily available. My previous role was Training Coordinator. In this role, I co-ordinated Training for new starters and also internal employees, which can range from 1 to 1600 employees. Working with different stakeholders within the business, extending from Advisors to Senior Managers and Directors. It involved maintaining training records and providing reports to the business regarding current training being rolled out. Before joining Next, I worked for a not-for-profit company – The Fit For Work Team – where I managed multiple projects and contributed to the delivery and success of pilot projects and new initiatives. I built and maintained relationships with external providers and promoted the services offered. I enjoy the variation that my role brings, from managing meetings to helping organise team events. Each day can bring a different challenge and enables me to development relationships with a large number of people across the business at different levels. I have a BSc from Loughborough University in Information Management and Business Studies.
