About Bethany Abebe

Hello everybody! My name is Bethany Abebe and I am currently an undergraduate at the University of Kentucky. I am pursuing a double degree in international studies and political science on the prelaw track. I am extremely passionate about meeting new people and learning new skills to further develop my professionalism. I love working in teams to achieve a certain goal. As for my experiences and skills, I am excited to say that I have vital soft skills such as customer service, attention to detail, and creativity. I am also multilingual which is to say I am proficient in four languages including Amharic, English, Tigrinya, and Spanish. I hope to use my skills in each in every opportunity I am presented with whether it's internships, job shadowing, or research. Outside of the classroom, I am involved in the SAB multicultural committee chair, Model UN as the delegate of the DRC, and in the STEP up program by tutoring at a local high school. My hobbies include painting, drawing, reading, and cooking Ethiopian food.
