About Bethany Arsenault
I received my Masters in Library and Information Studies from the University of Alberta, where I successfully defended my Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council-funded thesis on Young Adult literature and digital affinity spaces. In my current role as Digital Literacy Librarian, I help to develop and deliver technology training for staff and customers, lead cutting-edge digital literacy initiatives, collaborate with a dynamic team to support community-driven services, and pilot innovative programs in technology and makerspaces. I love working with people and technology, and I’m passionate about making digital spaces feel safe and inclusive. We’re all digital citizens and we all have the capacity to thrive in digital spaces.
