Background
About Bethany Dickinson
I’m a passionate youth and arts education leader with over 7 years’ experience designing and delivering creative, inclusive programmes for young people aged 4–19. With a background in performing arts and a Master’s in Creative Arts and Mental Health, I bring a unique mix of artistic skill, academic insight, and frontline experience in youth work, teaching, and programme management. Currently, I serve as Arts Coordinator at WEST Youth Zone, where I lead a vibrant team to deliver over 40 creative workshops a week, from music production and dance to spoken word and graffiti. I have a strong record of increasing youth engagement through partnerships with leading cultural and corporate organisations, and a passion for amplifying the voices of underserved children and young people. Whether managing safeguarding, mentoring staff and volunteers, or collaborating with schools and funders, I bring empathy, creativity and impact-driven leadership to everything I do.
