About Bethany Hendrix

I am currently working as an associate literary agent where I read queries and review manuscripts, looking for books to get out into reader's hands. Previously, I worked as an editorial assistant where I reviewed submissions, corresponded with authors, edited manuscripts and photos, and sent manuscripts to be further reviewed. I also worked in public relations—writing press releases and media advisories, using graphic design to create posters, brochures, etc, and starting social media accounts to generate traffic into six county libraries. My work before gave me expansive reading, writing, and editing skills that translate to every market. I am very creative and have a detail-oriented mindset. My love for writing and reading has given me working knowledge of multiple writing styles, forms, and style guides.
