About Bethany Johnson

With over five years of diverse experience in the field of social work, I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who specializes in trauma informed care, crisis counseling, and medication safety. I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and families overcome their challenges and achieve their goals through personalized and in-person treatment. Currently, I run my own private practice as a clinical social worker and owner, offering a range of psychotherapy services to clients from different backgrounds and needs. I am also an outpatient therapist at Centerstone, a leading provider of integrative psychotherapy, where I support clients in their pursuit of whole body and mind wellness. As a LBQTQA+ affirming provider, I strive to create a safe and respectful space for all clients, and I have experience with pre-bariatric mental health assessments, outpatient eating disorder treatment, and psychedelic medicine preparation and integration. I am hoping to pursue new experiences in which I am able to formal experience in educating future social workers and mental health practitioners. I value and continual professional development, education, and advocacy for mental health professionals and those who are striving to enter the field.
