About Bethany Johnson

Good morning my name is Bethany Johnson and I would love to work within your non profit organization. In 2012 I started interning for Sadie Nash leadership program. The Sadie Nash leadership program is a program for girls ages 13 - 25, we discuss issues that affect our neighborhood and woman rights. Through Sadie Nash I then started interning with center for media justice and at the time Council Member letisha James. At the office of the council member letisha office I've done administrative office work such as, update emails and phone numbers and answer phone calls. During the time I interned for the council member Letisha James Hurricane Sandy had hit New York CIty during the holidays I was in charge of making a donation list for those community members that were effected by hurricane Sandy. I gave out turkeys and gift cards to the supermarket during Christmas I made a flyer for an office party stating that everyone should bring a present to donate. After the Christmas party I was in charge of sorting all the donations to distribute to daycares that were effected by Sandy. I presently intern at JCC manhatten in the film department as a social media intern
