About Bethany Mink

Perform procedures within the nursing scope of practice. Medication administration and response. Implement clinical pathways and care coordination. Responsible for care of patients that have suffered neurological trauma (including but not limited to, GSWs, MVCs, seizures) This ICU is the only open ICU at Jefferson, meaning, I also care for Medical, Surgical, and Cardiovascular ICUs patients. I am responsible for titrating and managing high-alert medications, including, but not limited to, sedation, vasopressors, antiarrhythmics, and also running CVVHD, a type of hemodialysis for the critically ill patient).I am a team player who is dedicated, passionate, organized and reliable. I manage my time wisely. I feel I am a strong leader who leads by example, makes decisive decisions and can communicate positively with my peers and others. I am a goal-oriented person who sets goals and does everything in my power to achieve those goals. Being apart of an intercollegiate athletic team has taught me great discipline, pushed me to my limits, and tested my mental focus. I feel the skills I have gained being on the Penn State Field Hockey team have prepared me for my current and future endeavors wherever they choose to lead me.
