From my role as Director of Personnel for the new Mohegan Sun Casino to increasingly visible roles as VP of Marketing with Mohegan Sun and VP of Marketing & Business Diversity with Mohegan Holding Company, I’ve established a record of exceptional business leadership. Across the entertainment, special events, casino, retail, and F&B industries, I’ve brought value in every role. Turning around performance… When a major project stalled, the COO asked me to get involved. I was able to assess and put in place a strategy leveraging a digital solution that initially faced resistance. I was able to resolve concerns and achieve project success! Tapping into social media and building loyalty programs… Recognizing the power of loyalty, I developed and executed a program that not only grew membership from 0 to 13K+ in just months but boosted check size 22%. Doing whatever is required… When the GM of one of our brands left, I agreed to step in temporarily. A year later found me managing a team of 45 employees, implementing SOPs, and putting in place what became a very popular fundraising platform. Other skills include SWOT leadership, extensive public speaking background, deep expertise identifying opportunities for growth and expansion, and outstanding analytical skills. On a more personal level — and of great satisfaction — is having performed for our troops for more than 20 weeks a number of years ago. This included serving as Show Manager for a Department of Defense Overseas Show and performing with the USO.
