About Bethany Tilseth

A step off the beaten path. I haven't taken the traditional route to finding my niche in the workforce. There have been many bumps along the way, and never thought getting a degree was in the future for me. I knew from the time I was little that my passion has always been to help people. Always going out of my way to be a peer support, mediator, counselor, advisor, or just a safe place when needed. A little later in life, the lightbulb finally turned on. Human resources is my calling. I wanted to be a part of the business functions while still maintaining that human connection. I started my journey by going back to school and managing to complete a 2-year program in 18 months. Driven towards my goals and success, I knew while completing coursework that Human Resources would be where I thrive. I get to learn the ins and outs of a company, be an integral part of keeping a company in compliance, creating structure, or building employee success programs while still getting to use my skills of empathy to help employees through everyday work life and personal success and struggles. Currently working in the HR field gaining experience and real-time hands on knowledge while starting on the path to pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration, emphasis on Human Resources Management.
