With over 8 years of healthcare leadership and management experience, I currently serve as the Child Life Services Manager at UW Health, a renowned academic medical center and health system. I manage a team of 29 direct reports, including direct patient care, administrative, and specialty support staff, who provide quality patient care and support to children and families in various clinical settings. My core competencies include human resource management, budget planning and analysis, department development and improvement, and multi-disciplinary collaboration. I am passionate about creating a culture of excellence, connection, courage, and curiosity among my team and the organization. My mission is to ensure the best possible outcomes and experiences for our patients and their caregivers.
