As an Independent Director and Advisor at technology companies in software, cyber, and telecommunications industries, I'm a collaborator who asks tough and insightful questions, fueling innovation while providing oversight in complex environments. My domestic and international executive career with IBM, AT & T, Abbott Labs, and AbbVie spanned P&L, technology, finance, M&A and operations, building a broad fluency in risk and insight. As a pioneer in digital transformation, we positioned AbbVie’s $18B spinoff for long-term success by leading complex, cross-functional legal entity disentanglements from parent Abbott in its 65 largest jurisdictions, and creating efficient, flexible & compliant automated operations in over 100 countries. This echoed my earlier work at AT & T. Heading non-US network operations, and then global service assurance, we elevated AT & T from “not a global player” to the Gartner Top Quadrant by unifying fragmented acquisitions across more than staff in 65 countries, to create seamless managed network services for commercial clients. I've applied Fortune 500 insights to private companies, start-ups, and non-profit environments. With the mandate to build tomorrow's leaders as an Executive in Residence and Adjunct Professor at TCU, I stay at the leading edge of today's most challenging topics - sustainable business, supply chains and operational resilience, and business ethics.
