Background
About Betsy Cisneros
I’m a passionate, bilingual (English/Spanish) Early Childhood Education professional with over 30 years of experience supporting young children from infancy through preschool. Originally from Venezuela, I’m proud of my Hispanic heritage and grateful for the opportunities the U.S. has provided to build a meaningful career and raise a family with purpose and love. My journey began as a preschool teacher, where I spent a decade designing learning environments tailored to each child’s needs and interests—laying the foundation for my lifelong commitment to intentional, individualized learning. Those early years inspired me to advocate for the importance of early education and lead others by example. For the past 18+ years, I’ve served in leadership roles across federally funded programs like Head Start and Early Head Start, both at the delegate and grantee level. I led as Executive Program Director and Education Coordinator at Paradise Christian School, transitioned into the role of Implementation Manager for the Early Head Start Child Care Partnership at United Way Miami, and currently serve as an Implementation Coach for CAIT—where I support educators to connect curriculum, assessment, and classroom practices with meaningful outcomes. I’m also a certified CLASS Reliable Observer through Teachstone, and I bring strong interpersonal skills, the ability to build trusting relationships with teachers, families, and children, and the capacity to guide teams through new or established program frameworks. Today, I embrace a personal and professional practice I call “Agradecer x Adelantado”—a mindset of visualizing success with gratitude before it arrives. It’s how I’ve navigated challenges and celebrated growth, and it’s at the heart of the book I’m writing and the conferences I dream of leading. As I step into 2025, my goal is to connect with 54 new people who inspire, support, and challenge me as I step into this next chapter as a speaker and author. I believe deeply in the power of purpose, gratitude, and connection—and I’m committed to uplifting others through every role I take on.
