About Betsy Sears

I have had the privilege of working in the insurance medical testing industry for the last 28 years (when I started to work for Jim Osborn at Osborn Laboratories). During my first few months as supervisor, I wrote lab procedures, managed lab operations, quality and inspections and recruited staff - essentially building and growing one of the first insurance laboratories in the country from scratch. It’s easy to be passionate when you help to start something at the ground level.Since then, I have had the opportunity to see our industry evolve dramatically. When LabOne (ExamOne) acquired Osborn in 2001, I had a front row seat as I watched them build a paramedical offering to conduct lab-based tests. From there, we started doing our own assessment interviews with an in-house call center. Today, we offer a robust suite of holistic and integrated services that allow our clients to concentrate on what they do best - underwriting.
