About Beulah Solivio

I am an avid learner with 7 years hands-on experience in designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting experiments in bioanalytical chemistry and biotechnology and 5 years applying this training to study children's diseases. I am passionate about communicating and teaching my science to a bigger population. I am eager to apply my multi-disciplinary skills to answer new challenges and have a greater impact in society especially to help patients/clients. I worked independently to develop methods for LC-MS analysis of proteins and RNA oligonucleotides during my PhD, which led to three publications and over 10 presentations. My leadership and project management skills are evidenced by mentoring three undergraduate researchers. The biochemistry aspect of my PhD work led me to pursue research in healthcare and disease. During my postdoctoral training, I led three projects, which resulted to modeling patient diseases using mouse models and seeking potential therapies. This experience led to skills in neurology and phenotyping of congenital craniofacial malformations. With this, I am looking to further my career to continue creating an impact in patients' lives.
