About Beverley Compaore

I am a determined, committed and responsive individual. I execute tasks with the necessary urgency whilst maintaining quality assurance and efficiency of resources. I am an action oriented leader with a focus on achieving positive outcomes from the projects I am engaged in. In my current role as Senior Lecturer (HE) in Business, I am responsible for the performance management and monitoring of the Business Enterprise programmes within the Business School. I provide the necessary support and guidance to lecturers to ensure high performance team work. I am a competent lecturer delivering outstanding lectures to final year Undergraduate and Postgraduate students evidenced through my attainment of Senior Fellowship of the HEA in 2020. I have developed an excellent reputation for Research and Entrepreneurial Project supervision again at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level. I am actively involved in the design and validation of new academic programmes, having recently successfully validated a new programme Business Management (UG) and revalidated the Business Enterprise and Entrepreneurship programme (UG) and I am currently working on the revalidation of the MSc Enterprise Management. As part of the revalidation of Business Enterprise and Entrepreneurship I wrote three modules of the Venture Series; Venture I - Idea Creation, Venture II Concept and Prototype and Venture Creation and Launch, as well as a core final year module from Incubation to Acceleration. I work with external organisations and individuals to continue to develop the ethos of entrepreneurship, enterprise and innovation across the Business School.
