In all the work I have performed, I have always understood the importance of organisation, attention to detail and getting it right the first time. This is a vital factor in running an efficient office and ensuring administration is a smooth process. I pride myself on my administrative skills and over the 30 years that I have been working in this field, I have honed my skills, learned everything that I can along the way and can proudly now say that I am a highly professional and extremely efficient Administration and Customer Service Officer. The skills I have acquired however, run deeper than this. During my career I have taken control of the administrative side of a number of businesses across a variety of sectors including retail, food preparation, warehousing, manufacturing, sales, farming and animal care. I have worked in aged care, tourism, fashion, computer consumables and property development. This amounts to a lot of experience. It adds up to being able to think quickly, make informed decisions and solve problems through initiative and resourcefulness. It also means being able to take control, to step in when needed and support team members, including management. I have had a vast amount of experience in assisting top tier management and do so in a calm and professional manner. I am a people’s person and believe that relationship building is an essential element to success – be it personal or professional. I enjoy interacting with a broad cross section of people and am very empathetic, caring and compassionate. I like to build rapport with team members, customers and stakeholders, and have often been complimented on my friendly and helpful nature. To sum it all up, I am a highly effective administration and customer service professional looking for new opportunities. I am very computer literate, a fast learner and always eager to take on new skills.
