Experienced Community Support Worker with a demonstrated history of working in the hospital & health care industry. I have been employed in various health settings, Mental Health working on adult secure units across greater Manchester, Cheadle Royal Hospital, Tameside general, also Moorside Ward at Trafford General, & Prestwich Hospital. I then went into palliative care in a hospice and onto Cardio thoracic ward. I have also been a team leader in a children’s home for 7 years and went on to do work for social services, I also completed marketing for children’s homes. I am experienced in Research, Customer Service, Microsoft Word, Healthcare, and Public Speaking. Strong community and social services manchester. I have worked in housing for the past 30 years with high risk offenders getting them to address issues such as homelessness, drug/alcohol issues, Mental health issues/ offending/ DV/ hoarding etc I am currently working for Wythenshawe Community Housing Group on the Motiv8 Team, as a Motiv8 Keyworker. My previous work history is working for Riverside Housing in various hostel settings, also Salford Probation Service where I was rehousing high risk offenders with great success. I am currently finishing a level 3 accredited CBT course Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, I also have my Care Certificate & my NVQ 3 in Health & Social Care, I have for the past 4 years plus worked on the Motiv8 Team at Wythenshawe Community Housing Group supporting people with a range of complex issues addressing their issues and eventually getting them into training or employment. I have recently left the Motiv8 Team and taken up a new job role within Wythenshawe Housing as a Living Well Co ordination again working with people with complex issues focusing on safeguarding which is my new challenge with a wonderful new team.
