About Beverley Nias

Qualified professional with 10 years experience in the property sector. As a keen legal head I left my agent robes behind and am a Associate Executive and Team Leader after working my way up the ‘ranks’ in the Landlord and Tenant department after gaining knowledge, training and experience at Dutton Gregory where I deal with cases of tenancy breaches, deposit and damage claims, negligence complaints, possession cases and block management work which involves leaseholder service charge defaults. I am working towards starting my CiLex with the CiLex Law School to qualify as a Certified Legal Executive once I have completed my studies and passed the associated exams. In 2012 I undertook the NFOPP Level 3 Technical Award in Lettings and Property Management which includes property practice, health and safety law, lettings law and statue as well as property management. This course is the equivalent of an A Level which I undertook in 3 months. With extra courses on the TDS regarding deposit registration and best practice and Right to Rent legislation I ensure I am up to date on current legislation and practice. As a previous manager of 2 x Lettings departments I also attended various management courses including managing difficult customers, sales progressing and complaint management.
