Background
About Beverley Taylor
Are you a podcaster or an event organiser looking for a well-being, menopause or behaviour change speaker for your event? Or a HR professional looking for well-being or menopause training for your organisation? Or a well-being provider adding associates to your offering? Perhaps you are a company struggling with turnover, trying to understand if there is a wider issue in your workplace culture? You may have a high percentage of female staff and you are wondering how to support them better through those life transitions like pregnancy, parenthood or menopause? Not sure where to start? I can help! With the recent changes to the pension structure and current workforce patterns, menopausal women are the fastest growing demographic in the workforce. Yet, lack of adequate workplace support means that many women are missing work unexpectedly due to their menopause symptoms. Worse still, many are considering an early departure from the workplace as the symptoms are just too hard to manage. This is not only costly for employee retention, employee recruitment and to working women as a whole, but also totally unnecessary. While menopause can be a challenging and difficult time, I believe with the right support, women can thrive during this time. We don’t need to get to a place where women are leaving your organisation, especially when menopause support can be relatively easily tackled. I am Dr Bev Taylor, a chartered psychologist, well-being and menopause trainer, speaker and coach. I regularly speak at conferences or events about well-being, menopause or behaviour change. I also offer a 'lunch and learn' type sessions for organisations looking to raise awareness of well-being or menopause at work. This is useful for all employees across organisations, whether they are struggling with mental health or menopause or if they are feeling adequately supported. I have found my menopause sessions can be particularly empowering for partners of, managers of, and colleagues of someone who is menopausal. Indeed, male line managers have found this particularly useful, as they understand more about how to support and begin conversations with employees. So if you are looking for a speaker for your event or if you want to bring well-being and menopause support to YOUR workplace, send me a MESSAGE on here. I am already looking forward to working with you!
