About Beverly Perkins

I am the kind of person who gets wrapped up in my work. I enjoy being self-directed, though I work very well with others Taking on projects, solving problems, organizing, and trouble-shooting are my favorite things. Finding new and more efficient ways of doing things, or writing new procedures is fun for me. I like to bounce ideas off of colleagues and get their feedback to assure that whatever is in my mind will indeed be practical and user-friendly when the whole plan is ready to roll out. The same kind of process is useful with clients as well, whether it be developing new strategies for living at home or in a facility. Above all, I am a practical person who values the rights of the individual and is compassionate to the needs of others. This enables me to look at each new situation with an eye to detail and a sense of anticipation that I hope remains with me always. After all these years and a myriad of experiences, every day is still an adventure.
