About Bex Watton
After working in Aged care for several years I felt I needed change and went to work on the Acute Respiratory ward at Tauranga Hospital. It was challenging due to serving as the Covid ward at that time, but the experience set me up to move into becoming a Flexi Nurse and working all over the Hospital. In the last 12mths I moved into Public health which while is not the task based nursing of the wards, presents with it's own challenges, I am about to commence Post graduate study in Child health at the University of Waikato.
