I have 24 years of dedicated service to Local Government in Queensland, Northern Territory and Victoria, working within several regional, rural and outback councils in a variety of positions, including working with Indigenous councils. I have worked in senior executive management positions, as CEO, Deputy CEO, Director of Corporate and Financial Services, and Chief Financial Officer. In addition to this, I hold following qualification and professional membership. • Bachelor of Arts with majors in Accounting & Financial Management and Management & Public Administration • Graduate Diploma in Management • Master of Business Administration (MBA) with majors in Local Government, Human resources & Associations Management. • Financial Investigations and forensic Accounting • Effective Financial Risk Management • Executive Management in Queensland Local Government • FCPA - CPA Australia • AIMP - Australian Institute Of Project Management. • CAHRI - Australian Human Resource Institute I have the ability to guide organisation and collaborate with key stake holders to progressively achieve the community vision. As a visionary leader I have successfully managed some innovative projects and programs within the Councils that I have worked for. I promote a culture that is innovative and full of continuous improvement. I have skills to lead the Executive Management Team in managing people, infrastructure and assets. I provide an opportunity for people to look and work beyond the “norm” and be innovative and unique. Developing and encouraging the upcoming leaders has been an important aspect of my leadership.
